Membership Information
Benefits of Membership
Our members are automatically represented by the Petroleum Marketers Association of America (PMAA), which is our national organization comprised of state and regional petroleum marketing and convenience store associations. PMAA members band together to create a nationwide network dedicated to quality collective federal representation.
MPMCSA and our members also work very closely with the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS).
Lobbying and Government Relations
MPMCSA works as an active voice for petroleum marketers and convenience store owners and operators with state government agencies and with the state legislature. The MPMCSA Staff coordinates regional issues and national issues as covered by PMAA, and keeps members informed.
MPMCSA is your eyes, watching out for developments in local, state, and national government and in the petroleum and related industries that affect you. It is your ears, listening for and providing you with information you need from numerous sources you might not be aware of or have time to contact. It is your voice, speaking for you to legislators and government officials at local, state and national levels, and is your strength, protecting your interests, and pushing to achieve the things that you want to protect and advance in your business.
During the Mississippi legislature, MPMCSA sends out Legislative Reports to keep you informed. If a situation occurs that requires members to be immediately notified, Legislative Alerts are sent to members.
MPMCSA Website
A readily available resource for all members, MPMCSA's website is your connection to other members, national organizations, governmental services and daily news of interest.
